Misja

BORIS is an independent non-governmental organization working since 1992 in a wide variety of activities promoting civil society - including support to non-governmental organizations and social initiatives - on behalf of the public good. Our main goal is to increase effectiveness in addressing social problems by taking appropriate advantage of the opportunities and strengths found in society.

Our goal is accomplished by providing information, advice, consulting services, training workshops, publications and assistance in building local coalitions.

We believe that government should be involved in only those activities that organized groups of citizens are unable to address.

Our motto is:

As little government as possible, as much as is necessary.

The BORIS Association is a member of the "SPLOT" Support Network for Non-governmental Organizations.
